Credentialing and Registry Enforcement (CARE) - Program Specialist V
Nurse Aide (NA) and Medication Aide (MA) Enforcement
Serves as the administrator of the NA and MA Enforcement programs to include NA Enforcement; MA Enforcement; MA Criminal History; NA Criminal History; and NA Military Spouse Waiver Enforcement. Develops, organizes, plans, and conducts all NA and MA program activity and services. Oversees, performs, and evaluates NA and MA operations to ensure effective achievement of goals and objectives. Conducts enforcement reviews, informal hearings, and administrative reviews; provides testimony in State Office of Administrative Hearing (SOAH) formal hearings; provides scheduled trainings and presentations for the NA and MA Enforcement programs.

Communicates with and provides highly complex consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, and the public.

Works under general supervision of the Director of Credentialing and Registry Enforcement, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
