Transcribes medical and psychiatric dictation using digital dictation system. Reviews and edits transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency and proper medical terminology prior to entry into the patient electronic record. Documents completion of core assessments in transcription logs. Reviews, analyzes, and prepares patient documents for scanning into the patient electronic record. Other duties as assigned.

Individual must be available to work hours other than 8:00 - 5:00 pm and participate with weekend and holiday on-call rotation.

Will be under direct supervision by the HIM Transcription Team Lead.

Compliance with HHS Immunization Policy required: serologic evidence of immunity to, or documented evidence of vaccination against, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chickenpox), Tdap, annual vaccination against influenza (and hepatitis B if applicable).
