The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. The Administrative Assistant II is supervised by the Admissions & Placement Coordinator. He/she is responsible for supporting the daily operations and activities for the administrative office. This position performs complex administrative and/or technical assistance to the department. Performs routine services and technical assistance work related to individuals moving from & to the State Supported Living Centers to community settings. Assist with the Community Living Discharge Planning (CLDP) process and developing the transition plan. Assists with preparing admissions, transfers, and discharges documents, and other duties as assigned. Responsible for ordering supplies; opening and distribution of mail. Maintenance of copiers, docu-centers and fax machines; completing travel requests and vouchers; preparing routine and special reports for State Office with deadline tracking. May serve as support staff and/or backup for other departments.
